What comes with the Dyson Airwrap Complete?

This lightweight styling tool arrives in a sturdy storage case that includes six attachments, each offering your hair a unique benefit.  It includes an attachment that dries and smoothes hair, different sized barrels to curl and wave, and brush attachments that shape and volumize hair. If you're used to drying and styling your hair with a standard hair dyer and curling iron, this all-in-one tool with multiple pieces might seem a bit intimidating. But don't fret—you'll quickly learn what each attachment does and what works best on your hair type. Here's a breakdown of the six attachments and what they do:

How do I use the Dyson Airwrap Complete? 

Putting on the different attachments is simple—toggle the unlock button to release the current attachment and twist on a new one. Each attachment heats up instantly and is easy to remove without burning yourself. On the tool itself, you can select from three different heat settings and three different speeds, depending on your hair type and the style you’re going for.

The attachments I pack with me most often are the two long barrels: I use the 1.2 inch thinner barrel for more formal occasions when I want tight, sleek curls and the 1.6 inch thicker barrel when I want more bouncy waves (a tip for effortless beach waves: curl your hair tightly with the thicker barrel as you normally would and then gently brush out the bottom of the curls). The best part: These two barrels attract your hair through airflow automatically, so there's little work for you to do and no real technique required. You'll notice a small arrow on each barrel that can be toggled to change the direction of your curls—you can switch back and forth between curling toward your face or away from it easily. 

The round volumizing brush is an another attachment I reach for frequently: It completely eliminates the tedious task of holding a hair dryer in one hand and round brush in another to create the perfect blow-out. This does the job in under 30 minutes and saves me an expensive trip to the salon before special events. 

Is it hard to use? 

I won't lie—it definitely took me a few tries to figure out what each attachment does and which works best for styling my hair type. Once I got the hang of it, though, I quickly realized why people love to travel with it. It's easy to use, light to carry, and leaves my hair looking like I just left the salon every time I use it.
