Notable new finds:

New luggage and bags

Monos x Magnolia Bakery

A sweet travel collab after my own heart: Monos teamed up with beloved New York City–based Magnolia Bakery to create a collection of luggage and bags in two new colors inspired by its iconic banana pudding and lavender cupcake icing. The collection includes Monos’s classic carry-ons, checked luggage, backpacks, packing cubes, and two of our editors’ favorites: the Monos Metro Duffel and Metro Sling. Not only are these colors perfect for the upcoming season, they will absolutely stand out at baggage claim.

Away

It's back! Away's beloved sky blue shade has returned—and this time, it's available in four Flex sizes including the iconic Carry-On Flex, Bigger Carry-On Flex, Medium Flex, and Large Flex. These durable hard-shell suitcases feature a built-in zipper expansion that add an additional 2.25 inches for carry-on sizes and 1.75 inches for checked sizes—ideal for overpackers or those times when you need some extra room for souvenirs.

Calpak

Luggage brand Calpak recently launched a medium size of its mega-popular clear cosmetic case. The larger size is a favorite makeup bag of our editors, but this new medium size fits nicely in a weekender bag or carry-on. It takes up less room, but still allows you to store plenty of makeup and toiletry must-haves. Plus, the clear case makes it easy to find exactly what you need and clean any spills. It’s available in seasonal shades like lavender, emerald, deep sea, and dragonfruit, as well as Calpak’s essential colors—mauve, black, stone, and caramel. The brand also recently created a mini version of its original Luka belt bag made of an ultra-soft, water-resistant material. The mini bag offers a hidden back pocket and a roomy main compartment that's great for storing essentials on those busy travel days when you want to be hands-free.

Coach

Coach’s Tabby bags are the ideal wear-anywhere handbag for spring travel. Styles like the Tabby Box bag, Tabby shoulder bag, Tabby chain clutch, and Tabby messenger bag are available in fun warm colors like gold, light violet, and flower pink. Not only do they look chic, but these bags have spacious main compartments for storing the essentials and are so versatile—wear them during the day shopping or to a nice dinner on vacation. Plus, these high-quality leather bags are made to last for years to come.

Cuyana

I’ve been a fan of Cuyana’s Easy tote for over a year—it’s one of those fits-everything bags ideal for a day of shopping for souvenirs or running errands. One fatal flaw of any classic tote is that things may inevitably fall out if you place it on the ground. To combat the possibility of losing any items in transit, Cuyana is introducing a new take on its Easy tote—zipper included. Available in three different sizes—tall, classic, and small—the Easy Zipper tote brings the same sleek style and soft, pebbled leather feel to a brand new bag that can be completely closed to keep all your essentials secure—making it a great option as a personal item on a plane or as a commuter tote. Choose from core colors like black, caramel, cappuccino, dark olive, and stone (my personal favorite) or fun seasonal shades like biscuit and sage.

Quince

Quince introduced a line of hard-shell suitcases available in two sizes: the Carry-On and the Check-In. These lightweight suitcases feature a water-resistant interior lining, TSA approved lock, and a removable laundry bag. Not to mention these luggage essentials look so sleek in the two available shades, black and tan, and are designed to withstand some wear and tear—so you don’t need to worry about tossing them around.

Comfortable activewear

Lululemon

One of our favorite athleisure brands, Lululemon, just launched plenty of new styles designed with runners in mind. Lululemon’s SenseKnit Composite running gear features shorts, tights, and jackets for men and women to wear in less-than-perfect weather conditions. The SenseKnit fabric is water-repellent, sweat-wicking, quick-drying, and designed to move with you. These layers provide the perfect amount of warmth for cooler days and ventilation for warmer ones while also looking so polished on.

Along with these new pieces comes the newest version of the brand’s first-ever running shoe: The Blissfeel 2 features a new upper offering added stability and support. These comfortable shoes with a seamless frame and breathability are made for runners and active travelers on the go. I've been wearing these while working out, but they'd also be a great shoe to wear on my next flight—lightweight and versatile.

Girlfriend Collective

I’m obsessed with Girlfriend Collective’s new spring color: Wild Iris. It’s the perfect purple hue that will spice up any workout or airport outfit. The brand is known for its sustainable, size-inclusive activewear—especially its high-waisted leggings and supportive sports bras. Plenty of styles, including bike shorts, windbreakers, and tank tops, are available in this new limited-edition shade with sizes ranging from XXS-6XL.

Aerie

Aerie’s viral crossover leggings previously racked up a waitlist of over 156,000 customers and it’s easy to see why—the high-waisted, criss-cross waistband makes them flattering on every body type and the material is buttery soft. The brand recently launched a new version of the popular leggings with the same crossover design on the back; they're available in a flare version as well. The double crossover makes the style look and feel even better and they’re ideal for daily wear whether you’re headed on a road trip, to a workout class, or on a flight. These have been my go-to leggings to pack on every trip—they’re so lightweight, take up very little packing space, and can be worn no matter what’s on my itinerary.

Wardrobe essentials from M.M.LaFleur

For all of your upcoming spring trips, M.M.LaFleur’s new collection is full of travel-friendly basics that are easy to pack and can be worn again and again. I’m eyeing the new styles made from a washable silk material that can be rolled up to fit neatly in your suitcase and easily cleaned. These chic staples transition well from day to night and look so polished.

Outdoor gear from Merrell

Merrell teamed up with New Mexico–based artist Jordan Ann Craig to design a collection of five shoes, a fanny pack, a beanie, and a sweatshirt that all pay homage to traditional Native American artwork. These celebratory designs are ideal for travelers headed on hiking or camping trips: Merrell’s hiking shoes are durable, provide necessary traction, and offer added grip on wet and dry surfaces.
